Welcome to "Spirit Life in the Workplace" blog

This is a try out of the exciting 'blog' technology, as our small group in Atlanta attempts to incorporate 'blogging' as a means of communicating and sharing ideas, thoughts, experiences, meditations, writings, and our own reactions to others' posts. All this done in the 'spirit' of searching deeply for meaning within, of what others may put in front of us, under the theme of "what does spirit life in the workplace look like?".

At present we have commented that this search makes a distinction between religion and spirituality. The focus is clearly and assuredly on the latter.

The drive, thus, seems to be the search for "life" in today's workplace: what would it take to "put back life" there? What practices, what beliefs, what vision and/or mission statements - and purpose - will allow for that to happen? Today, we only know that the yearning is present.
